oak strip mirrors
This is a set of six unique mirrors in hand painted wood strips on solid oak frames in a post and lintel configuration. They can be displayed individually or in groups.
The post and lintel style derives from ancient Greek architecture. This format has been used by contemporary painters Brice Marden and Imi Knoebel in many of their works. The colours used for this set of mirrors are from the Farrow & Ball range, each one is painted in four different colours.
Each frame has four split battens on the reverse so each mirror can be rotated to display in a portrait or landscape format. The mirrors can also slide horizontally so that they may touch each other or have a gap between.
These mirrors can also be made to order in custom sizes and colour combinations - they have limitless possibilities.
