ash with copper shelf mirror

A Shelf Mirror constructed in ash wood with a polished copper plate insert. The ash frame and shelf was hand finished, sealed, coated with beeswax and polished.

The copper is untreated and the plate can be removed for cleaning and polishing or left to develop a patina as desired.

When polished it will give an additional reflection to ceramics or other objects placed on the shelf.

The mirror is 4mm silvered float glass, however we can also make this item in bespoke versions with tinted or antiqued glass. The size shown is 650 x 300 x 140mm and the weight is 2 kg.

The frame is backed with 3mm MDF and is fitted with an integral split batten enabling easy, stable, flush hanging on the wall. This version is available and can be viewed by appointment at our studio - £275.00 inclusive.
