green & copper shelf

This is is a unique mirror design from 2019 featuring a copper faced shelf and modified frame. It is designed to display ceramics, small sculptures and objects. 

The frame was hand painted using four colours from the Farrow & Ball range; Green Smoke, Plummett and Railings. The underside of the shelf is in vibrant Babouche.

The copper shelf facing is polished and has not been lacquered allowing marks and tarnishing to occur over time. If a polished finish is desired it can be maintained by cleaning with metal polish. This frame is constructed in sustainable poplar wood. The top bar of the frame has been altered to a width of 20mm - the uprights, base and shelf are all 35mm.

This mirror is stamped, signed and dated on the reverse and is available to purchase directly from ourselves.The frame is fitted with a split batten hanger for secure flush wall mounting.
