This mirror consists of three panels in contrasting materials housed in a hand finished black walnut frame. The top horizontal panel is polished black granite, while the two vertical ones beneath are in polished copper and 4mm mirror glass respectively.
Though the design of
appears to reference classic geometric abstract art, the inspiration was derived from a different source. The colours and the horizontal and vertical blocks were suggested by the calculator icon used in the dock of Apple computers. The result is an eye-catching mirror with three different reflective surfaces.
This mirror is backed with 6mm MDF and there are two sturdy strap hangers on the reverse of the frame for secure hanging. Please note that this item is heavy.
is unique and is signed, dated and stamped on the reverse.

Icon has sold and is no longer available. We will not be accepting commissions using granite and copper for variations on this design. However we are working on a small limited edition in black, copper and regular mirror glass which will be smaller in size and much less heavy.
Details will appear here later in 2023.
